It all depends on your point of view. And the room on your bookshelves. Also, whether you'd rather read in bed, while exercising on your treadmill, or hooked to wireless networks. The New York Times claims "these, which offer a sense of control and customization that consumers have come to expect from all their media gadgets, has created a greater interest in books."
